Lyon Project Proceeding Well

on . Posted in General News & Announcements

100 2406Our project with Lyon Apparel and the Mexican National Fire Chiefs Assoc is proceeding well. To date we are told that almost 1000 sets of turnouts have been shipped for departments in Mexico.

In order to help with shipping and facilitate the entry into Mexico and other countries, Lyon has shipped a couple thousand sets to the USA and will ship from there in the future.

We are still looking for Rotary club groups who are interested in continuing to help areas they are affiliated with or looking for new areas in Mexico and other countries by raising funds to purchase these ensembles at an unheard of value.

To refresh,  a Fire fighter Turnout set including   Fire resistant Jacket, Pant, Hood and Helmet, all used but in very good condition for the cost to include shipping of approx  $165 per set  US. This is a great way to outfit a small department or region through a coordinated Rotary fund raising project. Of any piece or pieces of equipment necessary to provide emergency fire service, personal protective clothing is un mistakeably the most important. This is a great way to have a major impact to safety for the dollars.

If interested we can send a overview of the project and depending on the area could send a rep to make a presentation. You can check up on the project through the link provided on the front page and can contact us through this site
