2008 at a Glance

on . Posted in General News & Announcements

Working hard with our staff in preparations to head down to Ayutla in February 2008. We will be providing All the PPE, much of the equipment and participate in the training of over 20 new firefighters.

Still in the works but getting closer is a mission to Culiacan to continue where we left off in 2006 with the delivery of their first ladder truck. As representatives of Firefighters Crossing Borders.org, Steve Ness from Snohomish county will be leading a team of local firefighters and truck company instructors down for a 5 day training session. We are in the process of finalizing the dates and arrangements. If you are interested contact us.

On february 13th the executive board will meet to discuss the goals and objectives for the year and to continue our planningÂfor our Tecate mission in April. We are planning on working with other departments we made contact with in 2007, including Ensenada and San Felipe. Contact us if interested, we hope to utilize several of our friends in the region as we continue to work to bring firefighters together to help each other.

Hope to hear from you!!
