Equipment Needs

F.F.C.B. is always looking for new or used working equipment. Even surplus equipment such as hose, couplings, hand tools, computers, radios, bunker gear, helmets, gloves, rope, saws and ladders. Any useable equipment will truly make a huge difference in the hands and hearts of our Mexican firefighter counterparts.

The value of this equipment to F.F.C.B. is paramount to our mission. With our growing affiliations to other organizations and departments across our borders we will find a place for all your usable generous donations. You may use the form below to contact us regarding any equipment or resources that you would like to offer.

If you have equipment to donate please use our contact us page to get ahold of us.

Through a new promotion, Hurst will be donating older extrication tools to our organization for distribution to Mexico and where ever units and needs can be matched. As we work on shipping and other logistics, we are working on developing a training plan to educate those receiving this eqiupment. Using our experience in Baja, Mexico we will intigrate the tools safely into the communities we serve.

Annual Hydro of Air Bottles
Monday, 02 November 2009 12:04
We are glad that Mexico is in support of it's departments adopting NFPA standards. Our efforts in bringing quality, functioning equipment have been validated and we continue to believe that keeping air bottles in hydro is a primary safety concern. We have arranged to have 10 of their air bottles hydroded for free each year. In addition we will be arranging hydro service for the larger air trailer bottles on a rotating basis.

Air Paks Needed
Monday, 02 November 2009 12:03

Air paks are being donated and more are needed. We are training two members to service them making them in like new condition. We will take any paks that Fire departments are replacing.

To support the air trailer(s) we have delivered, combined with the dire need to put more packs in service, we are always looking for support in acquiring low pressure air packs and bottles. We can use high pressure paks, bottles and masks in sufficient quantities to provide to departments that can fill them.

In 2004 F.F.C.B. built a second air trailer for Rosarito BC, Mexico and again are always looking for working, related parts, compressors, air bottles and regulators. We are in dire need of a 5000 psi filling regulator. In 2007 Tecate acquired a compressor and now has the ability to fill and utilize the air trailer much better as a support vehicle.

Hurst Tools on Their Way
Thursday, 10 September 2009 23:00

The 115 Hurst tools donated by Hurst Inc. are on their way…… A majority of the tools are enroute to Guadalajara to Importadora Fabregot where they will be made into complete sets. We already have committments from knowledgeable and accomplished instructors from around the country to come together to begin the needed extrication training generated by these tools. Contact us through the website if you have any questions or an interest to contribute to the effort. We have taken possession of 4 LP10-c’s and they are going to be checked out and deployed in 2010. When deployed we will be looking to provide training in cpr, acls and ekg enterpretation.
