Our goal is to assist in what matters most to the recipients of our generosity. We are regularly in contact with our brothers and sisters across our border and are continually asking what needs they have. We evaluate their status, make suggestions and develop classes and curriculum that will ensure their success and self-reliance in the future.
CPR - Taught to more than 100 fire department and Red Cross personnel. AED - Delivered and provided training for 10 donated AEDs to 3 Mexican departments and agencies.

Bates Fire Training Academy
In 2005 Pat Piper, Bates Fire Training Chief and a member of FFCB met with officials of the University of Tijuana, Mexico in hopes of creating a dialog between the two schools. The goal, to bring structured fire training to the region, F.F.C.B is working with the Bates Fire Academy, (Tacoma, WA,) in becoming an active partner. We continue the work started in 2005 still with hopes of establishing a link and training academy in Mexico.
